Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard

If I’d only have to choose one word for how it looks, how it works and how it feels, that word would be “beautiful”. It really is an amazing little keyboard, clearly the best I’ve worked with (for mobile devices) and that really feels like a worthwile investment.

Chromecast 1 vs Chromecast 2

Since I was so happy with my original version of Chromecast, as you can read in my [Chromecast review] that I previously published, I rushed to a store and purchased version 2 as soon as it was released. As a matter of fact I bought a handful, as I was traveling for a conference in US, and at the time of the writing the new device hadn’t been released in Europe (and yes, piggybacking for my pals is still something I enjoy doing 🙂

With the release of the 2015 version of Google’s Chromecast, also regarded as Chromecast 2, a couple of new features have been added to the existing set of its predecessor. To me what mattered most was the addition of wireless AC standard which now should take speeds of up to 350 Mbps, which is really good especially if you plan on streaming content stored locally on your network, from your PC or NAS device.
